By using the Shorton Add-on ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("ToS"). If you don't agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Description of Service
Shorton is a Gmail add-on that provides message summarization and task management features within the Gmail interface.
Google Account and Authentication
- The Service exclusively uses Google Connect for authentication. You must have a valid Google account to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
- You agree to notify Google immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Third-Party Services
- The Service uses Anthropic's AI technology for email summarization and task suggestions, but only when explicitly requested by the user.
- We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services. We encourage you to read their privacy policies and terms of service.
Privacy and Data Usage
- Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy.
- We respect your privacy and do not store email content. We only process email content using Anthropic's AI service when you specifically request summarization or task extraction for a particular message.
User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any laws or regulations.
- Infringe on the rights of others.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
